Learning outcomes

Understand the fundamental principles of human physiology, with particular reference to the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, and muscular systems.
Analyze the physiological basis of tissue trophism and perfusion, with particular attention to the function of the foot and lower limbs.
Apply physiological concepts to the interpretation of pathological conditions involving the lower limb.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of general biology, particularly cell structure and function. Basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, particularly the major systems (muscular, skeletal, cardiovascular, nervous).

Programme

Module: DISEASES OF THE LOCOMOTOR APPARATUS / ANATOMY

Orthopedics and Traumatology
Elements of musculoskeletal anatomy;
