Course objectives

Knowledge and understanding: students acquire knowledge in the field of natural resources and naturally occurring raw materials, potentially usable, and environmental problems arising from their exploitation Applying knowledge and understanding: students will be able to understand the influence of technological dynamics on the availability of resources with a view to sustainable development Making judgement: students will be able to understand the importance of sustainable management of resources for the conservation of the natural balance of the ecosystem Communication skills: students will be aware of a potential shortage of long-term natural resources and of the importance of an environmental policy Learning skills: students will learn about the dynamics of the exploitation of natural resources, the potential limit to development deriving from the depletion of non-renewable resources and the need for orientation towards sustainability
