Programme
At the end of the course, students must:
- be familiar with critical pathologies and their treatment.
- be able to assess internal and external bleeding, as well as perform differential diagnosis and diagnostic algorithms for abdominal pain.
- be able to expertly perform therapeutic procedures in urgent and emergency situations.
- be able to recognize acute psychotic states.
- be able to indicate the correct use of different diagnostic imaging techniques in polytrauma patients.
- be able to recognize patients in surgical emergencies and apply the emergency treatment scale and the timing of therapy for injuries in polytrauma patients.

Lessons mode
The teacher delivers frontal lectures with traditional methods, with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on GOMP Aule/Orari system, published on the website of the CdS.
Frequency
Following the Regulations of the CdS, the student is required to attend educational activities, formal, non-formal, vocational. The attendance is checked by the teachers through signature / roll call, based on updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CCL. The certificate of attendance to the course is mandatory and required to the student to be admitted at the final exam.
