Contents:
1) Carcinoma of the pancreas: incidence of pancreatic neoplasia among the tumors of the digestive system; incidence of mortality among neoplasms both in Italy and abroad. Main predisposing biological causes and factors. Radiological diagnostics, ecoendoscopy, RM. Surgical treatment. 2) Gastric carcinoma: incidence and mortality among tumors of the digestive system. Importance of the histological type and how to spread the disease. Endoscopic, radiological and histopathological diagnostics. Geriatrics
Contents:
Clinical cases should be using to assess the learning outcomes.
The teaching will treat more important geriatric internal syndromes, their treatment and management. In particular, the following issues will be addressed: geriatric assessment, heart failure, cognitive decline, loss of consciousness, syncope and falls in the elderly.
