Objectives
The internship aims to allow the student to learn about the concrete problems of human resource management, through in-depth seminars carried out by human resources experts from primary public or private organizations or through a period of practice within primary private or public organizations
Learning outcomes
At the end of the internship, the student will be able to:
1) Knowledge and understanding
Describe the host organization (mission, processes, roles, applicable legislation/CCNL).
Indicators: completed organization profile; one short report (2–3 pages).
Explain the main legal/procedural references relevant to the activities performed (e.g., Legislative Decree 81/2015, privacy, health and safety).
Indicators: technical note with references; accuracy check with the tutor.
2) Ability to apply knowledge
Apply procedures and operational tools (e.g., time & attendance, recruitment/selection, procurement/temporary agency work, HR protocols).
Indicators: guided execution of 2–3 tasks with compliant outcome; tutor checklist.
Draft professional documents (e.g., letter templates, minutes, job descriptions, KPI reports).
Indicators: at least 3 validated deliverables; formal quality ≥ “good”.
3) Autonomy of judgement
Assess operational alternatives and justify the chosen option in straightforward cases (e.g., routing files, setting priorities).
Indicators: short decision memo; tutor feedback on relevance.
Identify compliance/quality issues in the processes observed and propose improvements.
Indicators: one improvement list (≥3 items) discussed with the tutor.
4) Communication skills
Communicate clearly with internal/external stakeholders (email, calls, front office), adapting register and timing.
Indicators: 3 sample communications; assessment of clarity/completeness.
Present internship activities and results succinctly to the team/tutor.
Indicators: mini-presentation (5–7 minutes) with slides/handout.
5) Learning skills
Search sources independently and keep up to date on relevant tools/innovations (regulations, guidelines, software).
Indicators: short source review; learning diary (weekly log).
Incorporate feedback and improve performance on recurring tasks.
Indicators: before/after comparison on one task; self-assessment note.
6) Transversal/digital skills
Use the host organization’s digital tools safely (HRIS, spreadsheets, archiving, collaboration platforms).
Indicators: correct execution of 2 standard procedures; compliance with policies.
Manage time and priorities, coordinating with the tutor and meeting deadlines.
Indicators: on-time delivery rate ≥ 90%; updated agenda/kanban.
Prerequisites
The internship can be recorded in the second year of the master's degree program.

No text will be used as this is an internship.

The internship consists of training activities carried out at the host organization, which may also employ the student remotely.
