Laboratory for technology Innovation Single channel
Chair (Coordinator) and Rapporteur: ANNAMARIA GISARIO
Lecturers
Objectives
The Laboratory aims to provide the basic elements for the execution of a vertical action of technology transfer from one research institution to a small or medium enterprise
Learning outcomes
Develop a project or experimental proposal for technology transfer based on a concrete case study.
Use simulation, design, or prototyping tools to support the introduction of innovations in industrial contexts.
Draft a clear and effective report on the activity carried out, highlighting the results achieved, the critical issues encountered, and the solutions adopted.
Prerequisites
Special Technologies
Programme
Introduction of laser technology
Analysis of the state of art
Analysis of innovative applications in manufacturing
FDM technology. 4D printing of objects with shape memory polymers

Lessons mode
The Laboratory of Technological Innovation, for a total of 3 ECTS credits, involves practical activities of experimentation, design, and/or simulation based on real case studies.
Frequency
The frequency in the practical activities that are to be carried out in the laboratory is required
Exam mode
Drafting of a paper on an innovative research topic assigned by the teacher which can be based on experimental data obtained through laboratory tests or based on design activities to be performed using dedicated SW (for example SolidWorks).
Example exam questions
An oral exam is not required; instead, students must submit a written report.
