Example exam questions

A particular double cone must be produced by Selective Laser Melting and Fused Deposition Modeling. Please provide an anamnesis of the possible issues in specific orientations and necessary support structures.

A factory plant is composed by several semiautomatic machines. Each of them requires 5 min for a cycle. The operator takes 2 min to load and unload the machine and 0.5 min to moves between machines. The machine and the operator cost are 0,2 €/min and 0,6 €/min respectively. Find how many machines should be economically assigned to an operator.
