LAB OF DECISION SCIENCE Single channel
Chair (Coordinator) and Rapporteur: LAURA PALAGI
Lecturers
Objectives
The course aims to provide practical tools necessary to critically evaluate and deal with engineering and economic models numerically.
Learning outcomes
We aim to introduce students to the formulation of prescriptive and predictive mathematical programming problems, the use of standard software to identify optimal solutions, and verification and interpretation of the mathematical model. Use of spreadsheets and/or matlab for solving PL and NLP problems.
