Learning outcomes
The internship is synergistic with the degree thesis so the expected learning outcomes are synergistic with respect to those of the degree thesis, i.e. the ability of a student to solve a complex control problem proposed by the thesis supervisor.

The work to be performed is agreed with the tutor (typically the supervisor of the degree thesis) and consists in applying methodologies learned during the degree course.

The search for documents on which to carry out the work is an integral part of the internship
Lessons mode
The internship is carried out at a company or at a research laboratory of the department by agreeing with the tutor the work to be performed. Typically, the internship is done in synergy with the degree thesis and the tutor is the supervisor of the degree thesis.

The internship consists in the acquisition of a certification, typically achieved with the acceptance of the degree thesis by the supervisor.
