Lecturers

Objectives

Studentsare allowed to take part in an archaeological excavtion, a survey, laboratory activities or other didactic activities organised by the Archaeological Sciences Course of Studies.

Learning outcomes

Students will develop basic competences on: methodologies of recording, preliminary analysis, drawing and digitalization of materials and documentation from stratigraphic excavations and/or field surveys of pre-protohistoric contexts; methodologies of stratigraphic excavation of pre-protohistoric contexts.

Prerequisites

No specific prerequisites are needed

Programme

Participation in fieldworks (excavations and/or field surveys) and/or processing and recording of archaeological finds, data management and digitalization.

Books

No textbooks are needed/provided. Specific readings can be agreed upon during the activities.

Lessons mode

Practical activities related to archaeological finds: processing, recording, drawing, data-bases, digitalisation, GIS.
