Attendance is strongly recommended. Non-attending students will be given additional readings

The oral test consists of an interview aimed at assessing the historical and theoretical knowledge acquired during class lessons and the reading of the texts in the programme. The ability to analyse videos of dance performances and images and photos of performances will also be tested.

The teaching makes use of video documents analysed in class. The course is divided into 2 modules. The first is dedicated to India, the second to China.
