Course program
Sumer, Dilmun and Magan
This module presents the major archaeological, historical-artistic and epigraphic contexts in the countries of Sumer, Dilmun and Magan between the end of the 4th and the end of the 2nd millennium BC, with a view to exploring, on a comparative basis, the complex system of cultural, aesthetic and political relations that developed along the eastern coasts of the Arabian Peninsula, particularly those affecting the Arabian/Persian Gulf.
