Learning outcomes
By the end of the traineeship, students will be able to independently apply basic procedures for the techno-typological analysis of lithic artefacts, recognising the main categories (cores, flakes, tools), describing raw materials, blanks and knapping features, and recording observations and measurements consistently using a standard recording form. They will also be able to work appropriately with teaching or study collections, following good practice for handling, curation and traceability, and to summarise results in a short technical note or laboratory report.
