Objectives

The course aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Provide students with advanced analytical tools for the study of Medieval architecture in Italy and Europe (from the 7th to the 14th century), employing both a thematic and chronological approach;
- Enable students to acquire a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the subject matter;
- Develop individual skills in analysing, interpreting, and connecting architectural monuments with their broader historical and artistic contexts.
