Objectives
The aim of the integrated course is to provide the student with further methodological skills in developing the approach to the patient in his / her interaction and collection of clinical news - formation of the correct anamnesis - that of the semeiological objectivity _ general and specific objective examination of the individual districts and apparatuses. Furthermore, the clinical record approach will be introduced through the formulation of clinical cases. The integrated course aims to present to the student the main causes of non-communicable emergencies such as cardiorespiratory arrest and other situations of absolute urgency such as airway obstructions. In this context, the equipment of respiratory and cardiovascular assistance systems typical of the intensivistic environments will also be illustrated.
The methods of venous access are illustrated, with regard to both the principals and the approach techniques. For the surgical competence, the elementary rules of treatment of superficial lesions and of wounds and traumas are more frequently found, with regard to sutures, dressings and bandages. The organization of a surgical emergency room within a modern DEA is also explained. The aim of the course is also to explain the characteristics of the multiprofessional approach to the patient through a multidisciplinary medical-nursing illustration, optimizing the specificities of each professional. Objective of the c.i. is to give the student additional tools related to the approach to the patient both in order to recognize signs and symptoms and to compare with non-differentiated emergencies such as cardiac arrest and other urgencies that may occur both in hospital and extra -ospedaliero. Learn about venous vascular access systems and the specificities of intensive care environments. Evaluate the complexity and implications of a multidisciplinary approach made by medical professionals and nurses. Preliminary knowledge of the principles of economics governing public health and assessing its implications for the supply of "health".
The problem of chronicity and of the assistance of the chronic pathology patient is introduced both in the hospital and in the territory. The public health system and the principles of economy that govern it are also explained in a preliminary way in order to improve the health supply. Further commitment of the course is the deepening of the knowledge of the English language.
