Applied geomorphology

Course objectives

Ability to analyze the cause / effect relationship between geomorphological processes and morphodynamics. Knowledge and ability to observe and recognize the landforms and their genesis. Ability to evaluate the intensity of erosion in fluvial basins and slopes. Knowledge and ability to apply methods for geomorphological hazard assessment. Ability to organize field survey and monitoring of landslides. Capability of thematic maps compilation.
