Expected learning outcomes
Multidisciplinary approach to manage the different connections linking the diverse Earth Science topics related to the study of Quaternary.
Understanding the basic elements of climate and environmental change in the frame work of the recent natural history of the Earth.

First level degree and/or equivalent skills in natural sciences, geology and biology

Historical background; Pleistocene "Cold and warm guests" in the Mediterranean Sea; Dispersal events and climate change during the Quaternary; Paleobiogeography; Biochronology: Mammal Ages and Faunal Units; Mediterranean endemic faunas; Case studies.
