The course provides the essential foundations of labour law, enabling students to understand both the individual employment relationship (formation, performance and termination) and collective labour relations (sources, bargaining, representation and industrial conflict).
Consistent with the multidisciplinary goals of the degree programme, it develops knowledge applicable to key areas of business management: organisational design, personnel administration, compliance policies, risk management and liability frameworks. The course also strengthens a legal analysis method for reading rules and documents (legislation, collective agreements, basic practice), recognising typical problems and setting out solutions consistent with the legal framework—supporting graduates who can interact with HR functions and external stakeholders (consultants, public bodies, representatives).
