The Department of Earth Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome, in collaboration with the Ordine dei Geologi del Lazio (Association of Geologists of Latium) and the degree program in Geological Sciences at the University of Roma Tre, presents the seminar series "Geology in the World of Work," a series of orientation meetings for students enrolled in the bachelor's degree program in geological sciences and master's degrees in the field of geology that will be held from March 09 to May 19, 2023.
The seminar series initiative was dedicated to geologist Pierluigi Friello.

The purpose of the seminars is to provide master's students and recent graduates with an opportunity to learn about the profession of geology in its various fields of work and to learn about the practical and legislative aspects of the professional world of geology, which will be useful for preparation for the State Examinations for the license to practice as a geologist.
In addition, the seminars will provide registered geologists with information on legislative matters for professional development, with input from speakers from the professional world, academia and public administration.
For professionals and examinees, reservations are required on the Order's website; accreditation for Continuing Professional Development purposes is provided; attendance will be attested through the Teams platform.
