Nel Luglio 2000 consegue la Laurea cum laude in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l Università degli studi La Sapienza discutendo la tesi dal titolo: Angiografia con TC Spirale Multistrato nella valutazione delle arterie del circolo periferico: ottimizzazione della tecnica e risultati preliminari . Relatore Prof. R. Passariello - Università Sapienza di Roma.

Vincitore di una borsa di studio europea per una reasearch fellowship presso Università di Stanford, California, USA, in Advanced CT (durata annuale, Gennaio 2003-2004).
