Posizione attuale: Ricercatore di III livello, Consiglio per la ricerca in agricoltura e l analisi dell economia agraria, Centro di ricerca per gli alimenti e la nutrizione (CREA-AN).
Linee di ricerca attuali: Studio dell effetto di dieta (con particolare riferimento alla dieta mediterranea), alimenti funzionali e nutraceutici (contenenti componenti bioattivi di prodotti agroalimentari), stili di vita ed attività fisica, su fattori di rischio cardiovascolare, mediante studi osservazionali e d intervento. Attività di ricerca svolta anche nell ambito della collaborazione con la Prof. Maura Palmery, Dipartimento di Fisiologia e Farmacologia Vittorio Erspamer .
