Current academic position:
non-tenure assistant professor (RTD-A), Sapienza - University of Rome

Research interests:
-Millimeter and submillimeter instrumentation for astronomy and cosmology;
-Galaxy clusters and large scale structure;
-Secondary anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background: SZ effect;
-CMB polarization;
-Atmospheric issues for ground-based observations in the mm/submm band.
-Member of the MITO, OLIMPO, LSPE, PRISM/CORE+, QUBIC and LiteBIRD collaborations.

Skills:
-Cryogenic techniques for operation of microwave bolometers;
-Readout electronics and data acquisition of microwave detectors;
-Photometric and spectral characterization of instrumentation for mm astronomy;
-Electromagnetic simulation and characterization of microwave passive components;
-Programming for data analysis and simulation of observations (IDL, C++, Fortran, Python);
-MCMC coding and algorithms for Bayesian analysis of astronomical data.

Academic Supervision:
-Supervisor or co-supervisor of 17 M.Sc. thesis projects on topics related to instrumentation and data analysis for observational cosmology.
-Supervisor of many B.Sc. dissertations in Physics, averaging to 5 per year in the last 3 years.
