Objectives

The course aims to analyze the issues of management human resources in the legal prospective, with special emphasis on the theoretical and pratical aspect, the case law and the most recent legislative developments.

After completing the course:
1. Knowledge and understanding
The student must demonstrate the acquisition of a basic knowledge of the discipline of individual and collective employment relationships.
2. Applying knowledge and understanding
The student must demonstrate the ability to apply the concepts learned to concrete cases.
3. Making judgement
The student must demonstrate that he has developed legally founded ideas.
4. Communication skills
The student must demonstrate that he has acquired the capacity for argumentation and ownership of legal language.
5. Learning skills
The student must have demonstrated that he has developed a capacity to understand the discipline of employment relationships, its evolution and its main interpretative problems.

- selection and hiring of workers: labour market, contract of employment and flexible contracts;

- particular events of the employment relationship and crisis of the company;

Prerequisites

Knowledge of the basic notions of private and public law.

Exam modes

The course includes oral tests for all students.
For attending students further oral tests are scheduled during the course, which is taken into account in the final evaluation.
The exam aims to ascertain the possession of the theoretical knowledge transmitted during the course, the analytical skills and arguments of the student.
Furthermore, the student must demonstrate that he is able to apply the acquired knowledge and to have acquired a good problem solving ability.
The maximum score is given to students who demonstrate excellent knowledge of the subject.
