1. Introduction to Methodology of social research.
2. Research Design;
3. Epistemology and ontology;
4. Tools for data collection (qualitative: interviews and focus groups; quantitative: surveys and analysis of secondary data).
5. Descriptive statistics: measure of position, measure of dispersion, measure of association.
6. Graphs' Theory: bar graphs, histograms, pie graphs, scatter plot, box plot.
7. Introduction to probability theory.
8. Analysis of association of categorical data: contingency tables, chi-square.
9. Linear regression: linear regression model, multiple regression model.
10. Linear regression for discrete count dependent variable: logit regression model, multinomial regression model.
11. Multidimensional models: factor analysis, principal components analysis, correspondence analysis, multiple correspondence analysis, cluster analysis (hierarchical and k-means).
12. Big data, data mining and text mining.
