The course aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of the public company, focusing the public company in Italian law. The course proposes the student to acquire adequate knowledge to approach the study and in-depth study of public company.

Knowledge and understanding: The course provides students with a basic knowledge of public entities, in relation to the characteristics, operation, economy, efficiency, effectiveness, control systems and funding sources. It also aims to deep the information system through the quantitative tools of accounting.
Applying knowledge and understanding: The course allows the student to acquire adequate skills to work in a team of experts in the public sector
Making judgements: The course will allow the student to develop appropriate skills to analyse and evaluate the results obtained by a public company
Communication skills: The course allows the student to acquire adequate skills to work in a team of experts in the public sector
Learning skills: The course will allow the student to develop appropriate skills to evaluate the behavior the results obtained by a public company

Programme

The economic institutes and their classification.
The evolution of public entities. Economics. Efficiency. Effectiveness.
The assets of public administrations: the elements and the classification of public assets.
The organization of public administrations. - The economic subject; the political function and the administrative function.
Management in its qualitative aspects. Information system and accounting rules and principles.
The logic of a public accounting model - the general principles - the accounting documents - the management and financial reporting.

Classroom code: qcnofho
The teacher will use the classroom platform to publish material and send communication to students.
Students are therefore invited to enroll in the classroom course (both attending students and non-attending students who want to take the exam in the current academic year). Registration must necessarily take place using the institutional email.

Reception hours:
As required by the guidelines of the faculty, the reception in presence will be made by appointment to be taken by email.
Periodically, the teacher will set office hours via meet. The room link will be communicated via classroom.
