PERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES: Francesco Fazi has a long experience in the field of molecular mechanisms regulating growth and differentiation on a variety of normal and neoplastic cell systems and has been involved in studies showing novel oncogenic mechanisms for the leukemia-associated fusion proteins and the role of epigenetic mechanisms in the differentiation block and therapy response of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Francesco Fazi is currently involved in different multidisciplinary collaborations investigating the epigenetic and epitranscriptomic regulation and the functional characterization of different non-coding RNA in normal and pathological cell fate determination.

CITATIONS IN INTERNATIONAL JOURNALS:
To date, the research papers of Prof. Fazi gained over 4.450 citations in peer-reviewed international journals, and he currently holds an H-index of 29 (Scopus).
