Since next Thursday, March 12th, I will start the online teaching of the Many-Body Physics course. I opened the access to the course in the Classroom utility<br />(the course code is rkmjp7m). The students should register through their institutional mail account. <br />I am planning to upload some notes (essentially the formulas that I would have written on the blackboard). On Thursday at 12 I will open a Meet session and <br />invite trough the Classroom utility te students to the Meet session. I plan to share with the students the screen with the notes and I will comment them in the streaming lecture. Of course this is a first attempt and along the lecture or in the following lectures the same or a different (hopefully better) procedure will be implemented.

1990-91: Scholarship of the Consorzio Interuniversitario di Struttura della Materia (INFM) for a Project on High Temperature Superconductivity.
1991: Permanent position as Assistant Professor (in Solid State Physics) by the Department of Physics of the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
1998: Permanent position as Associate Professor (in Solid State Physics) by the Department of Physics of the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
2010: Idoneous as Full Professor in Condensed Matter Physics
2014: Qualified as a Full Professor in Theoretical Physics of Matter (02B2) and as Full Professor in Theoretical Physics (02A2)
2017: Full Professor in Theoretical condensed Matter

Presently he teaches the courses of "Statistical Mechanics" and of "Many-body Physics" by the Physics Dept. of the University of Rome "Sapienza".
Spent several periods of research abroad, among which by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge-USA), by the Centre d'Etudes Nucleaires de Grenoble, France, by the Laboratoire pour l'Etude des Propriet├ęs Electroniques des Solides (LEPES), Grenoble, France, by the Laboratoire de Physique Quantique, Ecole Superieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles, Paris, Francia.

FIELDS OF RESEARCH
-Statistical mechanics and field theory and their application to the critical phenomena in disordered electron systems;
-quantum statistical mechanics and numerical simulation of quantum systems;
-strongly correlated electron systems;
-high temperature superconductors;
-electron-phonon interacting systems;
-quantum critical phenomena in strongly correlated electron systems.
-Elecronic properties in oxide heterostructures. Spintronics
