Curriculum

Niccolò Cecconi is a Type A fixed-term researcher in Classical Archaeology at the Department of Antiquities at Sapienza University of Rome, as well as a lecturer in the Rome and the Mediterranean Network course. He specialized at the Italian School of Archaeology at Athens and earned his PhD from the University of Perugia, with a thesis focused on the urban landscape of mid-imperial Athens. Cecconi has participated in archaeological campaigns in Italy, Greece, Jordan, and Kuwait. His research primarily centers on the study and analysis of ancient Mediterranean architecture and landscapes.
