Programmi e testi
Il corso mira a introdurre gli studenti alla conoscenza della lingua della storia e della civiltà  ittita attraverso una panoramica generale delle principali tematiche e un approccio diretto alle fonti in traslitterazione e traduzione.  L’apprendimento della lingua ittita e l’approccio alla scrittura cuneiforme permetteranno agli studenti di cimentarsi nella lettura guidata dei testi trattati. Lo studio della lingua avverrà tramite la lettura e l’analisi filologico-grammaticale di un testo a scelta del docente.
 
Theme of the course is the knowledge of the Hittite language, history, and culture through a direct approach to Hittite language sources. The texts will  be read in transliteration and translated into Italian/English. The  learning of the Hittite language, and of the cuneiform writing system  will allow the students to attend in reading the Hittite texts. The study of the language will take place through the reading and the philological-grammatical analysis of a text chosen by the teacher

The course aims to lead students to a knowledge of the history, literature and religion of the Hittite civilisation through a general overview drawn from textual and iconographic sources. Hints at the structure of the language and scripts of Hittite Anatolia.
