half of year objectives:
Knowledge of accident prevention, use and maintenance of basic
instrumentation:
1. Thermal balance: power, reset, calibration, weighing in grams, and
decigrams centigrams, deactivation of the instrument and set aside.
2. pH meter: power, calibration using known standard solutions (pH = 4,
pH = 7 and pH = 9), electrode cleaning, drying electrode set-aside of the
instrument.
3. Dilutions: preparation of glassware, glassware washing, drying and
storage in a stove-heated room in private. Practical solutions of dilutions of
percentage by weight, percentage by volume of Normality and Molarity of
solutions.
4. Practical preparation of buffer solutions at different pH: control of
the same pH meter. Exercise in pipetting with automatic pipettes and
traditional.
5. Equipment: filtration systems, filter papers, adaptation of the
filter funnel using different ways of folding (filters, small, medium and
large).
6. Use of parafilm: the closing of the equipment used (flasks and
cylinders)
7. Practical realization: glass rods necessary to the laboratory activities.
8. Organization of a chemical Reagentario: book with the substances used.
Recording of consumption, minimum inventory, reagents that allow a continuous
supply of reagentario. Collection of safety data sheets and practical
interpretation of the same.

The second half year objectives:
Acquisition of autonomy in the use of basic instrumentation in other clinical
settings.

4. Sieraggio, research and eventual removal of fibrin in the serum.

9. Electrophoresis (agarose and cellulose acetate).
