Path of excellence

Purpose
The Excellence Program aims to enhance the education of high-achieving students enrolled in the program, who are interested in in-depth methodological and applied activities on topics relevant to Environmental Engineering for Sustainable Development. The Excellence Program consists of additional educational activities beyond those of the degree program in which the student is enrolled. The overall set of activities entails a maximum commitment of 150 hours per year. It does not lead to the award of CFUs (university credits) that can be used toward obtaining the academic degrees conferred by Sapienza University of Rome.

Activities
Students admitted to the Excellence Program will engage in theoretical and methodological activities (including lectures, seminars, practical exercises, and experimental activities) delivered by Faculty members or by other qualified institutions, as well as in applied and professional training activities, carried out individually and/or in groups, and coordinated by Faculty members. Erasmus students who complete part of their curriculum at a foreign university and are admitted to the Excellence Program may carry out part of the program at the host institution. Each student admitted to the Excellence Program will be assigned a tutor.
