Ofa: methods of fulfilling additional training obligations
If you obtained a score lower than 13/30 in the TOLC-SU test (including in TOLC@CASA mode) in the TEXT COMPREHENSION AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE section, you must fulfil additional educational requirements (OFA) in Italian.
The Faculty of Arts and Philosophy organises the following support activities for OFA recovery:
- online self-assessment and training tool (OFA@Italiano platform), with exercises and in-depth analysis, accompanied by video lessons;
- small group face-to-face courses with tutors with specific training.
Additional educational requirements (OFA) can be fulfilled in two alternative ways:
1. by passing a remedial test (written or oral) organised and/or indicated by the degree programme; or
2. by passing one of the following first-year STS curricular exams (passing the curricular exam, recorded on Infostud, automatically fulfils the additional training requirement):

Four OFA tests have been scheduled for the 2025/2026 academic year:
- 8 January 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- 2 March 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- 8 June 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- 9 September 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
