Frontal teaching, or traditional teaching, requires the physical presence of both teachers and students in the classroom. In this context, the teacher delivers the content through verbal explanations, supported by tools such as the blackboard, multimedia projections, and handouts. Communication is direct and interactive, enabling the immediate verification of students' understanding through real-time questions and answers. This approach also allows for practical activities and laboratory sessions that integrate theory and practice in a structured and dynamic environment.

Seminar V New frontiers of the nursing approach to patients with psychiatric pathologies (Teacher: Dr. Piera De Camillis and Dr. Annemarie Persechilli, 1 CFU-12 hours) Nursing assistance in the field of Mental Health/Psychiatry, which has its own peculiar historical excursus over the years and in particular in recent years, is changing significantly in the integrated services and structures of the Department of Mental Health, in parallel with social, epidemiological changes, psychopathological and mental health needs that have created new problems and new difficulties. Consequently, healthcare professionals working in the psychiatric field find themselves facing new critical issues and resolving old organizational and managerial issues relating to the safety of the patient and of the professional himself. The Nurse contributes to the treatment path common to the entire team and with skills that are specific to the profession whose essence is the therapeutic helping relationship. Some experiences of good therapeutic, care and rehabilitation practices in the psychiatric field will be brought to the attention, which involve Nurse colleagues in the planning and/or management, supported both by EBN/EBP practices and by other theoretical foundations which in any case lead to effective results for the bio-psycho-social well-being of assisted persons and their families. A new frontier of assistance is born in clinical practice, "e-Health". The term e-Health refers to the use of technological means to provide information, resources and services relating to health, to improve patient care. According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health (2014) telemedicine is a method of providing health services through the use of innovative technologies (Information and Communication Technologies-ICT) which allows for diagnosis, treatment, in terms of rehabilitation and patient monitoring, and secondary prevention. • Mental Health Nursing Assistance: new users, new needs, new responses. • Nursing in mental health and addictions from a caring perspective. • Nursing in mental health and addiction, care environments and their integration. • Mental health and addiction problems, planning and management of courses welfare and good practices. • Phenomena of nursing interest in mental health and addictions and strategies welfare. • Mental health and addictions nursing and relational and educational dimensions. • Development paths for mental health and addictions nurses.
