At the end of the course the student will be able to describe the historical evolution of nursing psychiatry care , the legislation for the protection of mental health and the care path for the person with mental illness; assist the person with psychiatric problems and argue the need to collaborate positively within the multi-professional team. It will be able to describe the application of the nursing care process to the patient with mental health problems and to identify the main elements of clinical risk in metal health and the related interventions for the management and prevention of adverse / sentinel events.
