Knowledge and understanding
- has in-depth knowledge of neurological, orthopedic/rheumatological and visceral pathologies useful for understanding every aspect of rehabilitation intervention
- has knowledge in the field of management, ethics, legislation and sociology, useful for understanding the organization of rehabilitation activities
- has knowledge of the English language in the specific area of expertise, for the exchange of general information and for the understanding of international scientific literature
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
- assesses the person and develops a physiotherapy diagnosis,
- plans treatment objectives
- provides direct physiotherapy treatment safely to individuals and groups of patients, through the use of evidence-based practice and the physiotherapy process, in order to assess and diagnose the state of health, planning objectives
- evaluates the effect of the care provided taking into account the physical, psychological and sociocultural dimensions of the person
Communication skills
- communicates appropriately in scientific contexts, to convey ideas and solutions to any problems
- uses communication skills and significant therapeutic relationships, including non-verbal ones, with people of all ages and their families and establishes an effective relationship with other healthcare professionals;

- provides personalized treatment based on national and international guidelines with a critical thinking approach;
- responds effectively to individual and/or collective health needs, as a single operator, as well as in a team;
- evaluates the effectiveness of their work by identifying critical issues and participating in their solution;

At the end of the internship, the student must be able to identify the preventive and rehabilitative needs of the adult. Evaluate the clinical manifestations related to the course of the main diseases, treatment, lifestyle habits, reactions to the disease, hospitalization, and care interventions. Know how to take charge of the adult, independently managing the rehabilitation treatment from the data processing phase to verifying the achievement of the identified therapeutic objectives; be fully integrated into the rehabilitation team; know how to manage the relationship with the user's family members, know how to promote the actions necessary to overcome the disability, to remove architectural barriers, to promote mobility, in relation to the individual's state of health and the current legislation in the sector. Know how to evaluate the responses to the rehabilitation intervention, recording the changes during and at the end of the same.
For developmental age, the student with the internship must be able to carry out an evaluation of clinical data that takes into account motor, psychomotor, cognitive and functional changes, the coherence, extent and significance of symptoms. Must be able to evaluate clinical manifestations related to the course of the main diseases of developmental age, treatment, lifestyle habits, reactions to the disease, hospitalization, and care interventions. Know how to take charge of the user in developmental age, independently managing the rehabilitation treatment from the data processing phase to the verification of the achievement of the identified therapeutic objectives; be fully integrated into the rehabilitation team; know how to manage the relationship with the child's family, know how to promote the actions necessary to overcome the disability, to remove architectural barriers, to promote mobility in relation to the child's health status.

Frequency
The internship will take place from Monday to Friday (excluding Saturdays and holidays) for a duration of 6 hours per day. The scheduled hours must be respected and any changes agreed with the coordinator/tutor to whom you are entrusted

Evaluation of the internship experience at the assigned locations
Theoretical test:
Drawing of a clinical case among those prepared by the Degree Course, it is required to discuss the case by contextualizing and using appropriate language for the functional evaluation and the formulation/design of the rehabilitation path by identifying the problems/needs of the patient/user/client in order of priority, related to the degree of disability, the pathology, the treatment phases and the rehabilitation prognosis.
