Additional Learning Requirements (OFA):
"Your test score may highlight any gaps in your required core knowledge for your course. In this case, you will be assigned an OFA, or additional learning requirement, which will allow you to fill the gaps in one or more subjects.
The announcement governing the admission procedures for the course will contain the score thresholds that determine the assignment of the OFA. The OFA must be completed within the first year of the program.
Generally, the OFA can be completed in two ways:
- by passing one or more first-year curricular exams, as indicated in the announcement;
- by passing a specific test organized by the educational institution.
In both cases, it is necessary to attend the support courses organized by your educational institution to complete the OFA.

OFA: How to fulfill additional learning requirements
"Students who have received a grade lower than ten and have not answered correctly in the biology and biochemistry subjects, earning a grade of eleven and seven, respectively, are required to complete additional learning requirements (OFA).
How to complete the training:
The additional learning requirements (OFA) are considered fulfilled by passing:
- the remedial test (OFA test) or, alternatively,
- the curricular exam required by each degree program.
The preparation procedures for the remedial tests will be communicated later. If the student fails to complete the OFA—by choosing one of the two methods mentioned above—he or she will not be able to take the exams for the years following the first, starting from the 2026-2027 academic year."
