Imaging and Radiotherapy techniques REPLICA G - ROMA OSPEDALE S. SPIRITO

General concepts and context (40 hours): on grammar, vocabulary and basic syntax of the English language; critical reading exercise of a scientific medical text in English.

In order to be able to understand the content of the teaching and to the learning objectives, at the beginning of the educational activities provided by the module the student must possess the knowledge on: general grammatical and lexical notions of the English language.

Pursuant to Art.5 of the Didactic Regulations of the Degree Course in Medical Radiology Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques - Course "G", the student is obliged to compulsorily attend the didactic and professionalizing activities of the CdS. Attendance of face-to-face lectures of a number of hours equal to or greater than 67% of the hours assigned to individual modules is required, in accordance with the relevant European regulations. Attendance is verified by lecturers through signature/application sheets on updated lists provided by the Teaching Secretariat in accordance with the CdS, as directed by the Bureau. Attendance certificate for the compulsory teaching activities of a Teaching Course is necessary for the student to take the relevant examination.

Grading Method: Written test with multiple-choice answers. A grade of not less than 18/30 in each module must be achieved to pass the exam. The student must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the topics in the syllabus. On the other hand, to achieve a mark of 30/30 cum laude, the student must demonstrate that he or she has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered in the course, being able to connect them in a logical and coherent manner.

The lecturer delivers face-to-face teaching in traditional mode, with audiovisual aids and with lecture scheduling as reported on the GOMP Classroom/Order System and posted on the CdS website.
