The written exam will include open questions on the texts and themes addressed during the lectures (online slides). The written exam will last two hours, and it will include 4 questions. Two questions will be aimed to verify the acquired knowledge, in one the students will have to invent and plan an experiment and in another one they will be required to apply the acquired knowledge to solve everyday problems.
Points:
To pass the exam a note superior to 18/30 will be necessary. To obtain 30 cum laude, the students will have to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the required topics (max 20 points; 2 questions, 10 points each), to be able to plan a novel and original experiment (max 5 points; 1 question) and to apply the acquired knowledge to solve novel problems(max 5 points; 1 questions).
Lesson mode
Teaching will be carried out by combining different teaching models. Each meeting will include a first part in which the lecturer will introduce a topic and stimulate discussion (frontal lecture) and a second, shorter part in which students will perform group exercises in preparation for the written exam: students will be asked to apply their acquired knowledge to new situations in the work safety context and/or to design an experiment on a topic identified by the instructor.
