Nursing REPLICA I - I.F.O.

The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge of the English language, with the specific purpose of making students able of: acquiring an essential basic vocabulary; acquiring a technical-specific vocabulary as complete as possible, concerning the activities carried out in the Nursing field; formulating short sentences in English; understanding simple sentences in English; interacting verbally with an interlocutor through short conversations; understanding simple scientific texts written in English; writing short texts in English. In conclusion, at the end of the course, students should have acquired all the tools and information useful to communicate with colleagues, other health professionals and patients in that language, in a socio-cultural and professional context that is actually becoming more and more international, in which the English language is widely used as the language of science.
