Course objectives

Graduates in the specific degree course are, according to the law 10 August 2000, n. 251, article 3, paragraph 1, operators of the health professions of the rehabilitation area and must be equipped with the scientific basis and theoretical and practical preparation necessary for the practice of the Physiotherapist profession and the methodology and culture necessary for the practice of ongoing formation. The theoretical and practical training must also include the acquisition of behavioral skills and is achieved in the specific work context, so as to guarantee, at the end of the training course, the mastery of all the necessary skills. Graduates of the class in health professions of Physiotherapist, (professional profile DM of the Ministry of Health No. 741,) carry out with ownership and independently or in collaboration with other professionals, activities directed to the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation in the areas of motor skills , of the superior cortical and visceral functions consequent to pathological events, with various etiology, congenital or acquired; they carry out educational, didactic and professional consultancy activities, in health services and in those where their professional skills are required; they carry out their professional activity in public or private health facilities, either as addicts or as professionals. They must also be able to use at least one European Union language, besides Italian, in the specific field of competence and for the exchange of general information.

In order to access the final exam, the student must have completed the training course on time

Frequency
The student is required to attend educational activities of the CDS. The frequency is checked by the teachers through signature / updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CDS. The certificate of mandatory attendance to the teaching course is required to the student to be admitted at the final test.
Exam mode
Drafting of rehabilitation records on clinical cases articulated with observation, evaluation, medium and long-term objectives, rehabilitation program and verification of the results obtained. Discussion of clinical cases. Practical test on the patient on manual skills and implementation of the exercise. Dissertation of a thesis written in the rehabilitation field.
