Course program
The main general topics that the course addresses are: 1) Protective and Risk factors in adolescence; 2) Theory of mind and emotion regulation; 3) Programs for students with autism in inclusive settings. This is a 12 hours course. This amount is approximately segmented as follows: 12 hours, mainly traditional lessons, devoted to different kinds of evaluations, risk behaviors, protective and risk factors in developmental age, evaluation and treatment of students with autism spectrum disorder.
Prerequisites
Because it is an introductory course there are no prerequisites.

Teaching mode
The methods include lectures and discussions for learning knowledge related to the theories of developmental psychology. While the discussion on cases will be used to foster the ability to apply this knowledge to concrete situations.

Exam mode
The exam is oral. To pass the exam a score of at least 18 out of 30 needs to be achieved. This score can be interpreted as reflecting a sufficient attainment of the topics covered by the course, and of the abilities developed during the course.
