Health Professions of Technical Sciences (assistential)

The course will cover the major theoretical models of stress, coping, anxiety, and depression. Lectures will address the mind-body relationship from the perspectives of psychosomatic medicine and health psychology. Lectures will analyze the process of adherence to therapeutic treatment. Students are expected to be able to critically discuss some of the theoretical aspects covered and to present international scientific articles.

PowerPoint presentation of a scientific article (provided by the teacher) on some psychological aspects of pathologies pertaining to the health professions.
