Course objectives

at the end of the course students will be able to practice a basic CPR and will properly work in emergency management both single and multiple. It will also have specific knowledge for the application of the rescue techniques on the territory as well as in the hospital field. He will work in teams. Will manage performance anxiety.

Definition of emergency medicine and the role of the nurse in emergencies Vital parameters collection and interpretation Guidelines for the management of the main medical pathologies in emergencies (such as hypertensive crisis, acute coronary syndrome, acute pulmonary edema, shock, pulmonary embolism) Communication techniques
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology of organs and systems Knowledge of semiotics Ability to interact effectively with Patients, Colleagues, Doctors and all other members of the healthcare staff involved in patient management Knowledge of hygiene practices in the healthcare setting
