Through the radiology internship experience, the student should acquire the skills necessary to perform the following activities professional: -Know the type of department location; Receive, identify, collect any previous documentation, Prepare patients for procedures; - Choose and adopt appropriate behaviors with respect to the individual patient; - Adopt methods in every situation to ensure maximum of radiation protection; - Comply in every situation with the code of ethics; - Organize their work and participate in the organization of the department/ service; - Work as a team; - Identify critical elements in the diagnostic/therapeutic process Related to the protection of privacy. - Identify the main personal protective equipment from radiation Ionizing radiation by describing their correct use. - Prepare the diagnostic room with respect to the radiological examination to be performed Managing the radiological procedure expected at a diagnostic room, ensuring: - the radiological diagnosis - protection to the patient and operators involved - the safety of the patient.
