Educational objectives

The module introduces the theoretical knowledge and supplies to student the operational skills for modeling of the logical aspects, topological, geometric, analytical and mechanics of the systems in the Civil engineering. To such end, problems typical of the computer assisted design are focused in the exercises with the application software.

Educational objectives

To provide Students the knowledge base and its leaders of building
activity is, is the body building, analyze and classify building
elements that compose according to the requirements of identification
and description of space, the requirements of comfort and safety
requirements to ensure the static.The target of the class is to give to the students the basic knowledge of materials and building techniques in architecture. The target is also to create a complete and coherent architectural-design.
The course defines the systemic reading of the building and wants to show how every constructive choice has to be contextualized during the operative praxis of design. The technical and constructive knowledge are necessary - but are not enough - for the students to planning a building.

Educational objectives

Acquisition of basic knowledge about the classes of materials relevant
to civil engineering: chemical and physical characteristics, production
technologies and performance under different environmental and
mechanical stress conditions. Acquisition of tools necessary for
critically evaluating suitable applications of the various kinds of
materials.
