Magnetic materials. 2) Knowledge of the main insulating systems in gas (also SF6), liquids, solids or oil-paper. 3) Knowledge of partial discharge and breakdown phenomena. 4) Knowledge and design of the main HV electrical components as overhead lines, terrestrial and submarine cables; power capacitors, GIS and technologies of the HV SF6 switchgears. 5) Environmental and normative references for HV electrical components (Kioto Protocol, European Directive on REACH and RAEE, Stockholm Protocol).
