Course program
The course deals with the main theoretical and basic aspects, jointly with some practical and innovative criteria for achieving its defined aims. Furthermore, environmental mitigation strategies for an eco-friendly plan of building systems will be analyzed. Lastly, tools, software and the regulation frameworks at national and European scale will be examined. In particular, the following topics will be included: Heat transfer Psychrometrics Ventilation requirements for buildings; Building energy performance and heat – cool loads assessment; Energy systems selection and technical spaces assessment; Energy efficiency strategies and Renewable Energy Sources analysis; Regulation framework analysis at European and national scale; Indoor comfort: IAQ (indoor air quality), noise analysis and mitigation strategies, lighting and thermal comfort.
