The course will cover the following areas - Hydrogen properties - Overview of traditional H2 production processes using either fossil or renewable feeds (steam reforming, partial oxidation, autothermal reforming) - Carbon capture and storage in hydrogen production processes (steam reforming with CCS, sorption-enhanced reforming, methane cracking) - Biomass gasification - Chemical looping hydrogen processes and thermochemical cycles
