Environmental and Sustainable Building Engineering

The course aims to provide the fundamental knowledge relating to territorial, urban and environmental planning and management in consideration of the more general sustainability objectives, as well as to develop (in addition to the technical specifications of analysis, design and management in the environmental, urban and territorial fields) a mastery of urban and environmental planning approaches and methodologies, with particular reference to the perspectives of participatory planning, local development and sustainable development, but above all with particular regard to the specific situation of internal areas, i.e. those territories characterized by high degrees of naturalness, low anthropic density (and depopulation trends), dispersed settlements and lower availability of services, but which in any case are characterized by important potential to be exploited.
