Course program
Structure of the electric power generation, transmission and distribution system. Evaluation of steady state operation of lines, transformer-generators and power grids. Calculation of symmetrical and asymmetrical short circuit currents. Neutral operation of AAT/AT/TBT networks. Angular stability of transmission. Frequency and voltage regulation. Overvoltages.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical machines.

Frequency
Attendance is not mandatory.
Exam mode
The assessment consists of a 3-hour written test concerning the solving of numerical exercises and an oral test consisting of two theory questions.
Lesson mode
Eight hours per week of face-to-face teaching spread over four days according to the schedule set by the faculty.
